Hi, I just watched the Flink forward session on the Ververica web site round this and think this is a good issue to have fixed.
I wonder: * What is the state of this Flip – is it close to going forward to vote? * I assume the existing java reflection might have issues with later Java (version 21) module support. * I wonder what happens if all the Kafka cluster are not at the 2 phase commit level. 2 phase commit has mechanisms to handle some of the participants only supporting 1 phase commit. Is it possible for Flink to check if the Kafka or another participant (e.g. a file) does or not support 2 phase commit. How would this work? For example can we check if the Kafka clusters are at a minimal version that supports KIP 939? Kind regards, David.
