Here's 1st release sync summary of 1.19 in 2024! There're less than 3 weeks until the feature freeze date(Jan 26). - Features & issues tracking So far we've had 27 flips/features and 4 of which have been done. Contributors are encouraged to update the status of related items on 1.19 wiki page[1], including documentation and cross-team testing requirements. - Blockers - [reopened] FLINK-32978 Deprecate RichFunction#open(Configuration parameters)[2] thanks @sergy for reporting the un-released breaking change and @Wencong will fix it soon - Sync meeting (https://meet.google.com/vcx-arzs-trv) The next release sync is Jan 23, 2024. After feature freeze day, the release sync will happen every week. We encourage attendees to fill out the topics to be discussed at the bottom of 1.19 wiki page[1] a day in advance, make it easier for everyone to understand the background of the topics.
