Hi devs, This is the summary of the second release sync of Flink 1.19:
- Features & issues tracking There're 9 weeks until the feature freeze date, so far we've had 21 flips and the status looks good. It is encouraged to continuously updating the 1.19 wiki page[1] for contributors. - GitHub Actions Migration is under discussion (FLIP-396[2]), volunteers are welcome! - The flink-shaded[3] version 1.18.0 will be released soon, thanks Sergey for driving this! - Blockers - [new] external connectors compilation failure cause by FLINK-25857 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-25857>, now back to the ml discussion[4] - [not a blocker] FLINK-31449 Remove DeclarativeSlotManager related logic - changed to major - [closed] FLINK-33531 Nightly Python fails - thanks Xingbo & Dian for fixing this - [closed] FLINK-18356 flink-table-planner Exit code 137 on ci pipeline - thanks @Matthias for getting it done - Sync meeting The Google Meet has been updated to: https://meet.google.com/vcx-arzs-trv.
