The Flink website could indeed use some love both design and content-wise.
Thank you for starting this effort!

I think a combination of approaches I) and II) could work well. Given that
this is a highly subjective area we could have a small kickoff /
brainstorming session with a few interested people. Then you could prepare
a small POC of the new design as a FLIP.
