Hi, benchmark_request is used by default by the jenkins benchmark request job. However I think no-one is using this anymore, and everybody starts benchmark requests from his own repository forks/clones. So the benchmark_request could be deleted, but only if someone would also clean up/adjust the Jenkins's job default parameters.
