Hi Atri, thanks for reaching out! How familiar are you with Flink? I could imagine that it might make sense to start with addressing a test stability to understand the Flink codebase, but you could of course also help out with a review of a PR. For example, https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/18408 would introduce a new operator for the batch processing of Flink and https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/14376 would add Protobuf support for Flink. If you are interested in a starter task for development, filtering in Flink's Jira on label=starter will give you some starters tickets. For example, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-18704. This of course also depends on your area of interest and expertise (connectors, formats, runtime, REST, etc)
If there's anything that's already interesting for you, I can assign the issue to you or you can start straight away. If these examples don't fit, we can also find something more complex of course :) Best regards, Martijn On Mon, 9 May 2022 at 16:02, Atri Sharma <a...@apache.org> wrote: > Gentle reminder, please > > On Mon, 9 May 2022, 01:15 Atri Sharma, <a...@apache.org> wrote: > > > Hi Folks, > > > > I have recently started using Flink and am excited to contribute to > > the same.
