copy/pasted the tutorial from this page:

into a new cell of a new notebook.
called word_count(None, None)
output cell was:

Executing word_count example with default input data set.
Use --input to specify file input.
Printing result to stdout. Use --output to specify output path.

If not easily fixable, maybe a mention that this doesn't work well in notebooks
could be useful, considering how prevalent an environment they are.
