+1 This feature sounds great to me. Allowing users to customize parallelism or infer parallelism for source or sink is indeed an urgent need. For example, In my inner flink jobs (1w+), we need to provide the ability for users to customize parallelism, and the parallelism for Kafka always is the number of partitions.
