Especially ones that are hard to notice -- either because they don't always occur, or because they don't crash the program, but instead they subtly affect its output, or lead to deadlocks. This was causing records serialisation very rarerly to be interrupted in the middle showing up on the down stream receiver as deserialisation errors.
