Hi guys, There is an issue about supporting Elasticsearch 7.x.[1] Based on our validation and discussion. We found that Elasticsearch 7.x does not guarantee API compatibility. Therefore, it does not have the ability to provide a universal connector like Kafka. It seems that we have to provide a new connector to support Elasticsearch 7.x.
Consider that Elasticsearch is a widely used system. There have been multiple user comments hoping to support Elasticsearch 7.x as soon as possible.
