- checked release notes
- no critical issues were addressed in 1.7.2 that were marked as affecting 1.6.X but not fixed for it
- source release
    - contains no binaries
    - contains no 1.6-SNAPSHOT references
- binary release
    - no examples appear to be missing
    - started a cluster; WebUI reachable, example ran successfully
- repository appears to contain all expected artifacts
- checked website PR

* checked commit diff since Flink 1.6.3, did not find any added non-AL2
dependencies
* checked signatures and hashes
* built from source and ran a few examples on a local cluster setup

I've added a few comments on the website PR for the release.

Thanks,
Fabian

- run mvn clean package verify locally with success
- verified that the *.out files is empty and *.log files contain no
exception when running a local cluster
- tag exists
- build the release notes locally, and seems good

Best,
Jark

Great job! Thanks jincheng for your efforts on the RC1 of Flink
1.6.4!
+1 (non-binding)

I have checked the following things:

   - download the dist source
   - compiled from the downloaded source
   - check repositories folder for 1.6.4, and jars can be download
successfully
   - Check the release pr, LGTM
   - Start a Local Flink Cluster, and submit a WordCount example by
WebUI.
WebUI is accessible, job starts and ends normally, without suspicious
log.
Best,
Hequn
