I started working on AMF3 a few days ago. Due to work I couldn't get my hands this days, but expect to get back to it ASAIC. For IDEA, I'm a big fan and supporter of IDEA IDE, and many folks here and using it already for FlexJS. However, I recommend you to check vscode+nextgenas, if you don't want, no problem, go with IDEA and check wiki or mailing list to get it working.
The rest is working in some way or another. As I said before, is a good time to start getting your hands dirty with FlexJS.
