Hi Sankar, FWIK, Alex and Peter rely on relative positioning to get percent size handling. But MDL does not use relative positioning at all. So that should be the problem you have with that property. That's the trade-off of sets like MDL that are a wrap of an external library and not a FlexJS natural one.
Maybe the workaround is to see how this is done in natural MDL and extrapolate a Flex solution. As well, if that solution is generic introduce it in MDL library for normal use. Thanks!
