Regarding swf, I think it would be a good addition. For one thing, I still find the cycle of compilation and debugging much faster in swf.
Also, having a version which does not depend on a 3rd party library will enable us to tweak things, such as when an (e.g. Slider) event is emitted. On the other hand, losing the 3rd party library sounds like a lot of work, so I don't know if it's worth it. For our purposes, we would be satisfied with a swf version that falls back on some wireframe theme.
