Hi Sankar, mdl:Application was introduced yesterday about 12 hours ago. It should be in nightly, but the best way to get up to date code should be to run maven in your local machine to get the latest artifacts.
btw, MDL swc and MDLExample will be part of 0.8.0. MDL is now feature complete, all components are developed but only HTML, but is too early and some things (like Dialog) needs to be polished and finished...but are few things from what I see. In the next few days we should be done. We can now, if we want, create a SWF version, but don't know if this work would be used or not.
