Maybe your app has a lot of classes and code, and goes up to 1 min... 1) I only compile JS (you can check MDLExample) 2) don't know about this, maybe others... 3) Yes. You pass "mvn clean install" in the module you change and then recompile your App (again mvn clean install in your App). Or CTRL+CMD+B in VSCode + NExtGenAs 4) clean is the most secure way and the cost in time is very few secs. It removes all content in "target" folder.
