I do envision "debug-mode" beads and classes that do parameter/value validation, since that will speed up development, but I hope to find a way to easily swap those out for production beads that don't do parameter/value validation. It's ok to leave the checks in for now, but hopefully some day there will be a way to opt-in/out such code. Thanks, -Alex
