I would like to write some unit tests for issues I know about, but I'm unsure how to proceed. Should I commit the unit tests even if they currently fail? I can create JIRA issues, but I know that unit tests are helpful as well so I would like to know how to contribute those even if I don't currently have time to fix the bugs myself.
