Hi,

Per [1] I think we can enter the testing phase for the Installer. If
anybody has a last-minute feature they want to get in, I’m willing to back
up to the Last Call phase.

There is already a release branch, but I think so much work has been done
on the develop branch that we should just kill the release branch and make
a new one. What do others think? Isn’t it tricky to update the release
branch and then merge back?

Meanwhile, on the develop branch, I have seen the installer use Nick’s
code (and also Neil’s changes) to properly install SDK 4.14.1.

So, for now you can grab the latest binaries for Mac at [2], and you can
get the binaries for Windows and the source packages off the CI server at
[3], although [3] will change when we get CI going for the release branch.

You will have to uninstall Installer 3.1 (which on Mac means not only
moving to the trash but emptying the trash) before running the exe or dmg
file.

Let’s all try to find some time to poke at these packages.

Thanks,
-Alex
