Hi, Just a friendly notice that I will be cutting the release branch for Flex SDK v. 4.14 on Dec. 12th at 9 AM (UTC: 2014-12-12 09:00).
This means that any contributions - features, bug fixes, documentation changes/additions etc. - that have not been checked into the 'develop' branch at that time, will not make it into the release. If you have any contribution in the pipeline that will need a little (not a lot!) more time to finish, speak now or forever hold your silence ;-) After I have cut the branch, nightlies of the release branch will be made available for testing. Any blockers and other emergencies will be fixed on the release branch, but no new features or patches/commits for minor issues will be accepted. What constitutes a 'minor issue' and what will qualify to go into 'release' will be at the discretion of the release manager, me. Special note to whom it may concern: spelling or grammar changes to README, RELEASE_NOTES, NOTICE and/or LICENSE (LICENCE?) are considered 'minor issues' for this release. So, if you care about those, please take a look at 'develop' in the next two weeks and fix any that you find, or you won't love this release ;-) Please create a JIRA issue for anything worth reporting during the release cycle. If it's not in JIRA, it's not an issue ;-) During the release cycle, 'develop' will be open for business as usual.
