Basically check the web interface if the builds have run successfully over the previous period. All builds should run at least once daily, and the Mustella runs all run on average twice a day. If they haven't run according to that schedule, something is up, and one must take action. Mostly this comes down to plain rebooting the machine, resetting it (blunt, but effective). Sometimes it is a bit more complicated, in which case I used to shout out to dev@ for insight/help.
Failing builds (that did run successfully) result in emails to the likely culprits, so that's not a task for the watcher.
