Got it!

I editted a slave-agent.jnlp to try to launch the slave on 'localhost'
instead of the external URL. That worked ;-) I've put the 'correct' file on
the desktop, ready to use after a reboot.

Don't use the shortcuts or command line options provided by the Jenkins UI.
