Hi Darkstone,

Radii8 -> Yeah. I was also impressed with the export to Flex, HTML &
Android, I also did not expect that.

I wonder if companies like IntelliJ, etc. would collaborate with Radii8 or
Radii8 to collaborate with the Apache Flex Team. Design View seems to be an
on-going request. If we want attract more developers to Apache Flex, this is
a core marketing feature. This is what attracted many new developers to Flex
in the first place.

Imagine integrating this with FlexJS..

I will try and contact Radii8, see if they are interested.

Regards,

Sugan

Subject: RE: Top 5 highest demands on Flex - Design View

Hi Sugan,

After I've played with these three Design View Tools, the only one seems
promising is http://www.radii8.com/demo/ . Although the flex components of
that demo provides are incomplete, I'm impressed that it can export flex to
html and android on the fly, I got say I did not expect that! I'll tell my
friends to try the demo, thanks~

This one works too, but lack of options to do complex jobs.

http://designview.sourceforge.net/#
And this one is out of date, it's based on old flex mx frameworks, which is
abandoned by new verions of Flex.

Now let's figure it out how to incorporate the Design View Application into
official Apache Flex release, should we just build our own Design View
Application and publish it on flex.apache.org, or ask third-party
organizations like radii8.com to donate their works?

Well it's just my silly thought, I know eventually if we want it, we have to
do it ourselves : D
