Hi, This is something that I discussed some time ago, with no success, and it's still bothering me:
In the installer, when you select a version of AIR, it will automatically select the "corresponding" version of FlashPlayer and vice versa. Is there a technical reason for that (eg. swf version, compatibility issue) or is it to pair FP and AIR versions that were released together ? The reason I am asking that is that I am using AIR for mobile projects, so I always need the latest version of AIR to get the latest functionality (AIR 4.0 for iOS7 etc...) However, Flash Player latest features are not necessary for me (from the Flex perspective) and keeping the "minimum player" version to something less recent is acceptable. Typically, I would like to install Flex SDK with AIR 4.0 and FP 11.1. That's not currently possible. Do other have the same concern ? Regard, Maurice Amsellem SYSTAR R&D - BusinessBridgeFX
