Hi Justin, thanks for take the time to see this issues, I'm with you that notifying that points would be sufficient. I Take the time to post it in the "Legal Terms" Page of MIF site here. Note that is spanish (use a translator to check it, but is more or less the points you state in your email):

If you guys think we need to state something more, let me know. About logos, I think we all agree that Apache Flex logo and MIF logo are very different (that was the intention in the design...avoid trademarks issues). In my opinion the only conflicting point would be some images taken from the web that should be removed in the next days as we get some time to create some art. Should we consider something more with the changes made?
