mx:DataGrid doesn't support scrolling individual columns. Unless the row heights are different in the columns for a row, you might just put two lists together with a button bar along the top. There's an example of doing that with Spark lists on my blog (blogs.adobe.com/aharui) and the FlexJS DG prototype essentially works that way.
