no idea who authored it, very likely it was you ;-) recall folks mentioned
they'd "heard" of it, blah, blah, blah. was it ever made public? any details?
could the flasCC or whatever its called now be used to wrapper/import the
icu4c bits???
Tried that first, it proved large and unruly and I spent more time trying to
remove things that weren’t needed than I ended up taking to port.
thanks for that, saved me from stumbling around (C++ is not my forte).
