Hi, Earlier this year we presented a small boilerplate project of mobile app, Android style. http://video.esri.com/iframe/2298/000000/width/960/1/00:55:30
The code is here https://github.com/lheberlie/building-mobile-apps-flex/tree/develop/apps/mobile-map-boilerplate The main feature was to support a smartphone and tablet form factor in one app. The navigator is different from the default one in the SDK. We added the android "drawer" that can be displayed on the side, and the "action bar" on smartphone the action bar buttons appear at the bottom of the screen, and in the ActionBar while in landscape. Always in the ActionBar for tablets. Some ideas :) Yann On Thu, Sep 26, 2013 at 10:53 AM, OmPrakash Muppirala <bigosma...@gmail.com>wrote: > On Thu, Sep 26, 2013 at 9:36 AM, garethdanielsmith < > garethdanielsm...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > In my opinion the default appearance of Spark components in Flex could be > > greatly improved. > > > > As an example, the Ext JS (AKA Sencha) javascript framework has many > > components very similar to the ones in Flex, indeed Ext has billed itself > > as > > a Flex replacement.
