Justin,

I was trying out the method Om and Alex describe. I'm familiar with
the setup you use, as it is the one I use and have had no problems
with. I was interested in the 'direct' method because on paper (in
email) it sounds easier. But I was unable to get the setup to work. I
was hoping Om or Alex could give a little more detail on the way they
have set up their dev systems.
