Hi, I checked in these changes last night. I think it actually made the code more efficient, easier to understand, and reduced migration pain.
The FlexJSOverlay.zip and DataBindingTest examples have been updated on this page [1] I'm now off to try to get a real-world production app to compile with Falcon and then FalconJX. [1] http://people.apache.org/~aharui/FlexJS/ -Alex
