Download the binary package for you platform, get the latest makeApacheFlexForFlashBuild.bat (on windows) or makeApacheFlexForFlashBuild.sh (for OSX) from the develop branch in ide/fashbuilder run it and that will by install AIR 3.7/FP 11.7 without downloading any other versions. Need links or longer instructions just ask.

There are JIRA requests for both of this issues so hopefully someone will get around to doing it. It's marked as a concern for the Apache Flex 4.10 release. > Heard from Justin there's an updated French build of the AIR3.7/FP11.7 Didn't know I spoke French :-) There's some improved scripts in the ide directory of the develop branch for Mac that easily allow you to switch between Flash Player versions and install new AIR versions. We can't make a release without some process including a vote and there are licensing reasons (by Adobe) which mean we can't just zip up a full SDK and place on a non Apache web site. You'd need to get a SDK redistribution licence from Adobe to do that and I've no idea what that involves. Thanks, Justin
