Mostly likely depends if your doing AIR mobile work or not, I know people who use Linux now to develop browser and desktop apps and don't mind using the older version.
There's not much we can do about Adobe's support of Linux but being an Open Source project we should try and support Linux the best we can. Thanks, Justin
