Justin, Is it not possible to have the full package (with dependencies) created for Windows packaged as a zip or tar with a download link (as it used to be)? The fact that we can create the package in Windows and it works in Linux shows this works. On the other hand it would mean stepping down the installer to work in the version of AIR supported by Linux or creating a PPA so it can be installed via Synaptic. Is this the direction you intend to follow?
