I apologize, I should rephrase it to state that there is not a currently maintained debug player for linux, causing us to miss out on any new runtime features if we choose to develop on Linux. Also, there is not a recent AIR build for Linux either, which for me makes it a total deal-breaker. To me, for it to really be supported, there needs to be full parity.
Now, I'm hoping that with Ubuntu breaking into the phone and tablet market, if they have any reasonable degree of success, Adobe will revive their Linux runtime efforts so that we can develop for those devices as well.
