I have to turn off the computer for tonight, but I took a quick look. For bubble, most of it looks like anti-aliasing differences, but I'm surprised the font at the bottom is showing a different as well. I'll try to find time to look at it.
For LangPacks/Japanese, double-check your setup again. I noticed the bad.png has a square '.' but the baselines have a round '.' at the end of the string.
