To me this means the fulfillment of something we mostly predicted a while ago. Adobe will begin playing even more with others and will contribute more to things like web kit. We will see some tooling and Flash Player play a less important role over the coming years. It's not a big surprise, I could never figure out how they were justifying the investment in their new virtual machine anyways, and I really don't see it impact Apache Flex in the least for years to come.
