Sorry, I went off the existing team list ;)
Currently, the official list is at http://flex.apache.org/team.html -- you
need to add your name to that list via SVN (/sites/content/team.mdtext).
Next, you should put your profile on the new site as well.

explains how to do it, but since you aren't listed, you need to
copy/paste
a new entry for yourself. Let me know if you need help with that portion.

Chris is as official as they come. He probably didn't put his name in the
team list but, he has svn rights, that makes him a "official"
committer.
