We can patch this for applying to next-dts in some cases, though we should keep
in mind in many cases a patchseries will container dpdk code (adding a new
feature) and dts code (adding a testcase), and in these cases we have to apply
to main or next-{some dpdk branch} based on what the series is for, not
next-dts.
