The basic build tests fail in many ways. The driver was disabled by error in first test before applying it. That's why it has been accepted.
This is a first try to fix most of the errors. It has not been tested with old compilers, nor icc. The 32-bit build fix is not complete. Please review it and send other patches to completely fix it ASAP.
