HI, I use the qemu-kvm create a virtual machine and give a virtio-net-pci mode NIC to the VM, then I run the bond_app example get an error. Here is the steps.
1. qemu-kvm -enable-kvm -had /home/images/fedora.qcow2 -m 2048 -smp 8 -cpu qemu64,+ssse3,+sse4.2 -device virtio-net-pci,netdev=mytap -netdev tap,id=mytap,ifname=tap1,script=/etc/qemu-ifup,downscript=no -device pci-assign,host=03:00.1 2. compile the DPDK v2.1.0-rc3 and use the tools/dpdk_nic_bind.py script to bind the device to the igb_uio 3. execute the example/bond/build/bond_app -c f -n 2 and get the error: EAL: memzone_reserve_aligned_thread_unsafe(): memzone <port0_rvq0> already exists PMD: slave_configure(1351) - rte_eth_tx_queue_setup: port=0 queue_id 0, err (-22) PMD: bond_ethdev_start(1497) - bonded port (2) failed to reconfigure slave device (0) EAL: Error - exiting with code: -1 Cause: Start port 2 failed (res= -1)
