* *RC2* date is on *Tuesday 24 July* (May slip to 25 July).
* Testing status
* Multi process memory issues
* There are two issues, one fix has been merged into main repo
* There is FreeBSD build issue, not high priority
* There is a virtio defect, fix in in progress
* One virtio fix applied to next-net
* Testpmd performance issue has been applied to next-net, will be tested
* No change discussed on release date, planned date is August 1, 2018

* cppcheck can be integrated to the patchwork, need some volunteer for work
* Kevin mentioned a virtio issue found by RedHat when 2MB hugepages used both in
host and guest
DPDK Release Status Meetings

The DPDK Release Status Meeting is intended for DPDK Committers to discuss the
status of the master tree and sub-trees, and for project managers to track
progress or milestone dates.
The meeting occurs on Thursdays at 8:30 UTC. If you wish to attend just send me
an email and I will send you the invite.
