Hi All, In the past months, Doris community have developed and merged many excellent features and improvements into master branch, eg. Nierieds new optimizer, pipeline execution engine, inverted index, high concurrency point query, multi-table materialized view and more [1]. We have started discussing about releasing 2.0 in Community Sync Meetings two months ago [2]. We have created branch-2.0-alpha branch and make it stable by daily test and bugfix in the past 2 weeks. Now it's time to kickoff Doris 2.0 release. The following schedule is proposed for discussion. Step1: release 2.0-alpha version in the first week of May, for testing inverted index and high concurrency point query, DISABLE Nierieds and Pipeline by default. Step2: release 2.0-beta version in the last week of May to the first week of June, for testing Nierieds and Pipeline, enable them by default.
