Hi all, I suggest to remove the entire "Cluster" related feature and codes from Doris, because this feature has been deprecated for a long time. As you can see, currently, each database has a default prefix "default_cluster:", which is confused.
1. Previously, this feature was used to divide the nodes of the cluster, so that multiple sub-clusters could be maintained in one Doris cluster. But this feature has been replaced by the resource tag function[1]. 2. The operation related to this feature has been disable in version 0.15, that user can not create/modify clusters 3. the "default_cluster" is very confused. And for the user who already used this feature before. We would like to create a new branch(maybe base on version 1.1), and find a solution to remove multi cluster meta data, so that it can be upgraded to new version without compatibility issue. Althought the solution is unclear, but I did it before and I am sure that it can be resolved. I may give some details later.
