Thanks Frederik.
I'll start with 4.24 and Java 17 for the moment, but yes, we would need
to upgrade both Eclipse (which is currently 4.40) and Java (25).
As it is a GUI application, we aren't too much tied with an old Java
version, and I think we should switch to Java 25.
That was also the reason I got rid of Antlr2 parsers, they weren't
working with java > 17. I can now build the LDAP API and the server with
Java 25.
Regardless, I have little knowledge about the way it should be done.
Stefan was dealing with the upgrading, and I just played a bit with some
code refactoring, and mostly the (not visible) OpenLDAP configuration UI
(which I intend to ressucitate, or have it alive).
Do you think the README is still up to date?

this morning I tried to load Studio in Eclipse 2026-03,
The latest version of Eclipse in which I've tried loading Studio was
eclipse-rcp-2022-03-R (and as far as I remember that worked fine).

I don't know and I haven't tried, but it wouldn't surprise me if there's
a limit to how new a version of Eclipse that can be used to build Studio
still tied to the platform Eclipse 4.24 (2022-06) and Java 11.
