+1 non binding I've also verified against a few different operating systems by running `verify-release-candidate.yml` in a GitHub Actions workflow [1][2]. We recently added this workflow to datafusion-python to verify releases [3]. If it's useful, I can open a PR to add it to the datafusion repo (and possibly other subprojects).
