Found some example pom still use SNAPSHOT
for 2.5.3
./jax_rs/minimal_osgi/pom.xml: <version>2.5.3-SNAPSHOT</version>
./jax_rs/minimal_osgi/pom.xml: <version>2.5.3-SNAPSHOT</version>
./jax_rs/minimal_osgi/pom.xml:
<version>2.5.3-SNAPSHOT</version>
for 2.6.1
./samples/jax_rs/minimal_osgi/pom.xml: <version>2.6.0-SNAPSHOT</version>
./samples/jax_rs/minimal_osgi/pom.xml: <version>2.6.0-SNAPSHOT</ version> ./samples/jax_rs/minimal_osgi/pom.xml: <name>Apache SNAPSHOT Repository</name> ./samples/jaxws_async/pom.xml: <version>2.6.0- SNAPSHOT</version>

But it's not show stopper IMO, we can fix those in next release.

Also tried install cxf 2.6.1 feature in karaf 2.2.7, tried the cxf- osgi example from servicemix, both work well.
So here is my +1
