Dear CouchDB Community, I have just filed the following report with the ASF Board.
## Description: Apache CouchDB software is a document-oriented database that can be queried and indexed in a MapReduce fashion using JavaScript. CouchDB also offers incremental replication with bi-directional conflict detection and resolution. ## Issues: There are no issues requiring board attention. ## Membership Data: Apache CouchDB was founded 2008-11-19 (13 years ago) There are currently 68 committers and 16 PMC members in this project. The Committer-to-PMC ratio is roughly 9:2. Community changes, past quarter: - No new PMC members. Last addition was Jonathan Hall on 2020-02-12. - No new committers. Last addition was Balázs Donát Bessenyei on 2021-01-14. ## Project Activity: - Due to summer in the northern hemisphere and [points at state of the world] slow progress on the project, but we are continuing to chug along on next releases 3.2.0 and 4.0.0 ## Community Health: - overall activity is down due to the summer for most contributors. Meanwhile our unofficial Slack channel continues to see steady flow of visitors seeking help and guidance. Best Jan —
