The Plumber is certainly news to me, but I see no reason why couchdb should 
help everybody relax and ensure our material (code, docs, …) minimises harm and 
removes potentially offensive/tainted/charged/debatable content.  Would it make 
sense simply to update these things each time it comes up, rather than opening 
the floor for debate, unless there’s no obvious appropriate replacement? 
Perhaps that’s bylaw-worthy.

BTW our irc channel is not logged and while this snippet is not likely to cause 
the world to collapse, there’s an expectation that what’s said on IRC stays on 
IRC, as part of being a Safe Place to chat. This was pointed out to me once but 
it doesn’t appear to be documented anywhere either.

As I didn’t see either of these points noted in CoC or bylaws, I will add this 
next week unless somebody thinks this should be DISCUSSed and starts a separate 
thread.
