We don't really agree with this being an issue.  Yes futon has that link in the 
bottom corner, but most applications have an account section and you get to 
that section by clicking on your own username or user icon.

For example: Jira.  If you want to change your Jira password you'd click on 
your icon in the corner to find that. That is something people are used to by 
now.
