The code snippet you provided you marked fputc as the call we're blocked on but
the traceback makes me think its the line after that with the fflush call.
Still, it looks as though we're blocked trying to flush out that buffer from
Windows and assuming Erlang is just sitting around waiting for a message then I
could see this being a classic dead lock (depending on how Erlang does its line
buffering). I'll try and find the Erlang internals that manage this bit of code
to see what might be possible.
